Pioneer in Medical Practice: Robert Berry

Consumers for Health Care Choices recently honored Robert S. Berry, MD as their Pioneer in Medical Practice award recipient.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Berry has been a model for hundreds of physicians who are frustrated with the bureaucratic interference with their ability to practice quality medicine. Dr. Berry puts the needs of his patients foremost. While maintaining an extremely busy and growing “insurance free” practice, he also has taken the time to speak and write articulately about the model of practice he has perfected. Robert S. Berry, MD, PATMOS EmergiClinic, Greeneville, Tennessee.

Consumers for Health Care Choices is a national membership organization dedicated to putting the consumer back in the driver’s seat of the health care system. We have members in 45 states and from all walks of life. Our members tend to be leaders in their own communities with more than a passing interest in health care reform. We strongly support consumer driven health care and greater competition as the first steps towards an entire transformation of American health care.
