Integrative Medicine

Barbara Ficarra, Registered Nurse and Host of Health in 30, sat down for a candid interview with medical experts Aly Cohen, MD and Neelam Misra, MD. As healthcare professionals, health education is a primary focus and now they bring their knowledge and expertise to you. They had a free style conversation about Integrative Medicine, a form of medicine that may not be so mainstream, but may very soon sweep the nation.

Integrative Medicine combines traditional, evidenced based medicine with complementary alternatives. Promoting good health is vital to help prevent illnesses. Integrative Medicine treats the whole body and creates a balance between the mind, body and spirit. Practitioners of integrative medicine become partners with their patients; they delve into many aspects of their patients lives in order for them to understand the whole person, thereby being able to treat the whole body.
